Caring for and teaching a child or adolescent can be a challenge in the best of times. When times get more difficult, it can be hard to know what to do. MindPsi can provide guidance on how to proceed when confronting these challenges. We cover children and adolescents from cradle to career. In order to accomplish this, we have a range of services that can assist parents in having their children overcome obstacles and become the best that they can be.

Assessment - Some children struggle with the academic work in school while others struggle with some of the behavioral expectations. In order to be able to intervene effectively, a proper assessment of all of the issues should be conducted. This provides a roadmap for providing better services both in the home and at school.

Counseling – Growing up provides a lot of challenges for children and adolescents. Most of the time talking with parents and friends about troubling events is enough. However, some challenges are too much for children and adolescents to handle even with support from friends and family. Our counseling services provide therapy that can give the additional support that children and adolescents need to get them back on the right track.

Consultation – While working with children and adolescents individually can help to some degree, there is a need to consult with family and schools to ensure progress continues to be made. Our staff is familiar with school systems and can help families coordinate services, accommodations, and interventions within the schools and at home. This greatly increases the chances of success in addressing a child’s problems.

Cradle to Career – Keeping track of a child’s development and their various challenges can be difficult. This is particularly true when a child has a disability. The Cradle to Career service provides support and active tracking for parents of these issues.
